E-BIKE PRIVATE COURSE

THERE'S PLENTY TO PEDAL IN THE ANNIVIERS

And we're really lucky with the weather too...

Throughout the summer and into the mild autumn, l'ess de Grimentz-Zinal offers you the chance to experience unforgettable moments, through our majestic landscapes, thanks to fine local food or simply by enjoying being on the move during a gentle mountain escapade on your two wheels.

For adults, we invite you to take a look at our current offers.

And for those who'd like to find out what to do, ... follow the adventures of Blaise Bersinger and Yoann Provenzano as they meet Laurent, the man who always knows what to do in Anniviers, because we're really lucky with the weather.

FROM BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

Let's put together an outing to suit your level and preferences.

The duration of the tour will depend on the level of the participant(s) and the general mood, and can be programmed by level over one session or spread over several weeks during the season.

Whether you're looking for your first kicks on the pedals, or want to hurtle down the slopes and make some nice turns on different types of terrain, don't hesitate to book a private or group lesson, a package or take part in one of our weekly outings to enhance your stay with an emotionally rich adventure on the region's trails.

Riding an e-bike in the mountains allows you to go further and higher... what used to be impossible is now accessible.

What will you learn?

Our E-bike courses enable you to get the most out of your motor, to take the most out of bends and braking, and to admire the scenery in complete safety.

First, our instructors teach you the basics and how to use an electric bike to make your mountain outing a success.

Then, for intermediates, we'll teach you how to improve your skills and ease of use on all types of terrain, from tarmac to steep slopes.

What you will work on and improve

✓ Getting on and off the bike
✓ The basic position
✓ Riding and braking
✓ How to handle different types of terrain (road, rock, grass,...)
✓ Mastering small obstacles
✓ Negotiating turns
✓ Braking in a straight line, then during a bend
✓ How transmissions work

...

and between pedal strokes,
open your eyes wide to appreciate me
and your ears to hear me whistle...

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The BPA recommends that helmets should also be worn on slow electric bikes (with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h).

ADVICE FROM MISS DENT-BLANCHE

When you're riding in the mountains, hikers may also be following the same path.

Make sure you are sufficiently visible (lighting, clothing, etc.) and in control of your bike at all times.

To ride a bike safely, three factors are decisive:

✓ a good knowledge of your abilities
✓ a technically flawless bike
✓ appropriate, conspicuous protective equipment.

Our guide will always adapt to participants' levels and tailor the route accordingly.

To make your ride a success, we encourage you to bring: a cycling helmet, sports goggles, full-face bike gloves and other protection if recommended.

Ride with foresight and adapt your speed when descending.

Have your bike serviced by a specialist, and equip it for road use in accordance with the law.
